  • Visible/NIR/LWIR lens focal length and image quality testing

  • MTF, distortion, and field curvature analysis

  • LiDAR optical lens qualification, including Pass/Fail software assessments

  • Lens transmission and focal plane validation

  • Flexible system designs for lab, production, or integrator site use

Our stations can be custom-configured to meet your metrology, form factor, and workflow needs.

Aquatic Lens Test Stations Using Proprietary Null-Lens Architecture

image (21)_edited.jpg

Optopax has developed proprietary null-lens test station technology that enables accurate, repeatable evaluation of underwater lens systems—without submerging the lens or test setup in water.

These stations replicate the optical properties of underwater environments in-air using a custom null water test lens, allowing submerged lens systems to be tested quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. This approach:

  • Eliminates the need for water tanks or immersion chambers

  • Greatly reduces setup complexity and test time

Supports both in-process and factory-level incoming/outgoing quality control use cases

This test method is ideal for qualifying imaging systems used in aquaculture, underwater robotics, and submersible vision applications, enabling higher throughput and lower cost of validation.
